the weekend. The farmers are
rejoicing and have cut their
wells off. We received 2 inches.
The Big Four Club will meet
at the Community Center Thurs-
day, Sept. 6. It will be our first
meeting after our vacation
month. We will start on the quilt
that Mrs. Butler (Hazel Hinkle's
mother) gave the club. So please
come and bring1 your thimble.
Mrs. Terry Lee Harvey and
children of Lubbock spent Sat-
urday night with Mr. and Mrs.
O. C. Fowler. Mr. and Mrs. Ed
Bingham and children of Mid-
land spent Sunday night. Mrs.
Fowler was released from the
hospital Saturday.
James Parker of Plainview vis-
ited Calvin Brints Saturday nite.
