ore producing counties in East
Texas today felt they had won
the "first round" in a battle
against Sheffield Steel's demand
for lower iron ore rates to
Houston. Their enthusiasm fol-
lowed announcement by the
Texas railroad commission that
a hearing on the rate question
had been postponed until Jan-
uary 15 at the request of repre-
sentatives of the East Texas
cities."
