Annouucement
I purchased the W. D. Kitchens & Sons stock of
Hardware June 1st and have been running it in the name
of R. R. Thompson.
I wish to announce that I have changed the name to
Mineola Hardware Co. I believe this name will be more
suitable and desirable for the business.
We are doing quite a good deal of repairing, remodel
ing and installing the famous Warren's display hardware
shelving. It will take ten or fifteen days to complete
this work, but when finished will be one of the best equip
Jped and arranged Hardware Stores in East Texas.
We are arranging the fixtures and displaying the
stock in a manner that will enable us to give quicker and
better service to our customers.
We are adding some new lines of merchandise and
enlarging other departments. We will soon be better
equipped to take care of the needs of this trade territory.
It will be the policy of this store to sell for cash at a
close margin of profit and make more sales. We can
save you money on merchandise in our line. We will
b^ glad to give you prices and figure with you on any
biil of merchandise.

Gross Misrepresentations Denounced
We, the, undersigned physicians of Wood ounty de-
sire to make this statement of facts. It has been report-
ed to us that a certain candidate has made the statement
from the stump during the present campaign > in sub-
stance. that many are having to make an affidavit that
they will never use any other, before they can procure the
services of a REGULAR physician. Such a statement
is so ie iiculous that it does not need a denial, however,
we brand it as false and unwarranted and we request the
candidate to produce his evidence in the form of an af-
fidavit. Neither of us have ever ask any person to g?ve
us au a iidavir before they could get our services, an i un-
less the candidate can produce the satisfactory evidence^
we ask the public to draw their own conclusions so far as
Wood County physicians are concerned.
