THE MINEOLA MONITOR
CITATION BY PUBLICATION
THE STATE OF TEXAS
In the District Court of Wood
County, for the 7th Judicial Dis-
trict of Texas, February Term, A.
D. 1929.
To the Sheriff or any Consta-
ble of Wood County—Greetings:
You are hereby commanded, that
by making publication of this
citation in some newspaper pub-
lished in the County of Wood,
State of Texas, if there be a news-
paper published in said county
(but if not, then in the nearest
county where a newspaper is
published), for Four consecutive
weeks previous to the return day
hereof, you summon Dora Bill-
ington, to be and appear before
the District Court in and for
Wood County for the 7th Judicial
District, to be holden in and for
the County of Wood, at the Court-
house thereof, in the City of
Quitman, on the First Monday in
February A. D. 1929, being the 4
day of said month, file number
being 6153, then and there to
answer the petition of M. F. Bill-
ington and alleging in substance
as follows, to-wit: plaintiff would
show the court that he and de-
fendant were married in Waller
County, Texas on the 16th day, of
Dec. 1924, and they continued to
live together as husband and wife
from said day and date until
the3rd, day of December 1926,
at which time this plaintiff was
forced to leave the defendant for
the reasons hereinafter stated.
Plaintiff would show the Court
_ that during the time they lived
together as husband and wife he
was kind and affectionate toward
the defendant that he treated her
well and supported and provided
for her as one in his station of
life should do, that notwithstand-
ing his treatment of and toward
defendant soon after they were
married the defendant begun a
course of cruel, harsh and inhu-
man treatment toward this plain-
tiff, that on many occasions the
defendant abused plaintiff, and
she continually fussed and quar-
reled at him without any cause
for sodoing, that at the time of
their marriage defendant had a
son by a former marriage who was
living with her, that said son
continued to live with plaintiff
and defendant for a time, that
he was bad, dangerous and wild,
boy, that he threatened to kill
plaintiff and when he would come
over to the home of Plaintiff and
defendant plaintiff would be forc-
ed to and did leave his home and
stay away from home for fear
that said step son would kill him,
plaintiff says that he remonstrat-
ed with plaintiff about her son
running him away from home,
but she told him that said son
would come over there whenever
he wanted to do so and that plain-
tiff had better stay away from his
home while said son was there,
that said conduct of defendant
and her said son plaintiff was
greatly worried and became a
nervous wrcek, that he lived in
constant fear of losing his life or j
suffering some serious bodily in-
jury, that his health became im-
paired and he was forced to and
did leave the defendant, and he
says that by reason of her treat-
ment of him that she has rend-
ered their living together as hus-
band and wife impossible and im-
surportable.
Wherefore plaintiff prays that
defendant be cited to answer
this petition and that upon a final
hearing hereof that he may have
a judgment disolving the bonds
of matrimony which exists be-
tween plaintiff and defendant, for
costs of suit and such other and
further relief both general and
special as he may show himself
entitled to either in law or equity.
Herein fail not, but have you
then and there before said Court
this writ, with your return there-
on, showing how you have execut-
ed the same.
