Washington. Jan. 29.—The House
Tuesday night passed a bill ex-
tending the life of the Reconstruc-
tion Finance Corporation for two
years and liberalizing the number
of the loan features of the RFC
act. There was no opposition.
A similar proposition has been
passed by the Senate but because a
number of changes were made by
the House Banking and Currency
Committee the bill must go back to
the upper chamber for final ac-
tion.

cause the previous act under which

firmation of his appointment by
