Capital Stock Now Oa the Market at x
Vt Share.
To Ihe Business Public
Because of the probability that our next
legislature will require our institution to
make a similar ueposit to the amount
above named we now being recognized by
Ihe attorney-general and se- relary of state
as regular insurance aud because of our
determination to make our corporation a
successful and permanent business enter-
prise we therefore deem it prudent to take
immediate steps in this direction. It is
not our aim to intlate stock under the guise
of speculation nor simply to advertise our
business but the sole object is to make a
permanent deposit for Ihe reasons given
having thoroughly convinced ourselves and
all persons acquainted with our history
that the end will well justify the means.
Ihe entire capital stock or the corpora-
tion is divided into 5000 shares valued at
$20 per share. It is the intention ot the
present stockholders to retain one-half of
tins mi i n tur of i-hares and to make the
necessary deposit of $20 for each share held
by them. If any or all of them be unable
to raise tho required amount then they
will deposit the amount required for the
number of shares attained by them and
bold the remaining shares for sale at tho
price named. F.ach subscriber will be re-
quired to pay in full for the
stock held and hence there can
bo no personal liability on subscriptions
taken. Kach share entitles its holder to
one vote in the regular management or the
corporation and to that much of tbe regu-
lar monthly dividends which will bo de-
clared from the profits of tbe business
whenever this sioci. is i.egoliated. Noneof
the proceeds of the sales of steck will go to
the present manager and stockholders ot
tho association; nor will any of the depos-
it probably evor be needed to meet liabili-
ties of the company. The holders of these
shares will of course bo stockholders of the
company and will share in
U its dividends nnd profits.
The present management will control the
iiii"inimm until tneir successors are
eieeieu at ine Himuul meeting of ihe stock
holders.
