AnionR Masons yesterday tho Weed reve-
lation was talked of to tho exclusion of
other topics. Various opinions were ex-
pressed on the subject none of which wore
complimentary to' Mr. Weed. Most of the
gentlemen were inclined to treat tho Mat-
ter very seriously though a lew were in-
clined to talk llipnaiitly ol it describing it
as a hoax long ago exploded. It wus no-
ticed however that the littler tendency
decreased In pruporl ion to the rank ol Hie
speaker in the Masonic order.

Mr. r.noch T. Carson is the past grand
commander of the (fraud coniiiiandery

thirty-third degree. He was busily en-
gaged in the ollice of the Masonic and

when a ('iiiiiniercial reporter called on him
Tuesday afternoon.
"I have not seen the full statement in

"What do you think of Mr. Weed's slate-

the reply.

extremely Hellish man. lie would charge a

"A Mr. .Stone in Illinois in a pamphlet

take any stock in a man whowi it'd conceal
a murder for titty one years while during
that peril. d he had been charging this very
(illense upon the Masons saying they bad
obligated themselves to conceal even mur-

" 'In the autumn ol ISJ7 the discovery of
the body of an unknown man on the shore

aspect to the question. The description nf
