Jacobs-Clark Wedding.
Last evening Miss Willie Pearl
Clark daughter of Mr. and Mri. If.
C. Clark was married to Richard
Carroll Jacob of Palestine Texas.
Rev. New Harris performing the ring
ceremony at :30 o'clock at the
home of the bride's parents.
The home was very attractively
arranged for the occasion with group
Ings of palms and ferns. In the liv-
ing room where the ceremony was
performed the bridal couple stood
beneath a canopy of greenery from
which hung a white wedding bell of
roses. Master Charles Moore the ring
bearer carried the ring on a silver
trav and little MIhs Maepearl Jud-
Uns. wearing a French frock of
white scattered rose petals before
the bride from her gilt basket. Mrs.
Prank Allen Judklns of Odessa as
matron of honor wore a gown of
white lace draped end caught with
white chiffon roses. She carried
white aweet peas In an arm cluster.
Miss Ruby Clark sister of the bride
maid of honor wore a frock of
white lace over pink and carried
pink Irish rosebuds. Miss Jssle Mae
( Clark sister of the bride acted as
maid in waiting and she wore white
shadow lace over pink and carried
pink roses.
Miss Luella Thompson played Ix-
hengrln's wedding chorus for the pro
ressional. During the ceremony she
played Schumann's "Traumerel" and
for the recessional Mendelsohn's
Wedding march.
The bride entered with the groom.
She wore a gown of white palm crepe
Jmetear. draped with point Venlcelare
and caught with rows of seed pearls.
: I lor veil crowned with a cap and or-
jange blossoms fell the length of the
court train. She carried a shower
boquet of bride's roses and Ullles of
the valley.
i After the ceremony there was a
home reception for the bridal party
and twenty-five friends. Ices and
bonbons were nerved In the dining
room which was decorated In pink.

tered with a basket of pink rose- j
buds while tho same flowers were
! used on tho buffet and side tcbles.

at 12 o'clock (noon) on Tuesday
June 24th and remain closed the
rest of that day on account of the
Masonic picnic.
Children's Day at Cliritlan Church.
The Children's exercUes of the
Christian Sunday school will be held
at the Christian church on the last
Sunday night In June at the preach-
ing hour. A nice program Is being
prepared for an Interesting and help
ful service. A cordial Invitation Is
extended to everybody to attend this
service.
The T. & P. train was reported
live hours luto Thursday and Snyd.T

Camp Springs All Rlght-
Mr. A. II. Trice of Camp Spring
was a pleasant caller at the Signal
headquarters Wednesday. He reports
crops growing nicely over there.
There Is a good growing season In
the ground. Some crops are consid-
erably In the weeds and everybody
Is at work. Mr. Trice says he will
be ready to gin cotton when the
time conies and he is hopeful of a
good business this year.
