"Only a few years since there were
only about half a dozen men here

are six to fifteen men who arc grow-

Kansas has been the increase in

were only about 1000000 acres in
Kansas in crops of ksfir mib and
sweet sorghums; the report of 1912
showed 231876V acres of the three.
This year there will be planted ap-

three.
"The cash returns for milk in
Kansas will be about three times as
much this year as in 1905 and about
twice as much for butter. In 1V0?
there was only one pure bred herd

one pure-bred Jersey herd. Today
there are about 50 pure-bred H'd-
