WHAT WOULD YOU EXPECT of US-
OUR PLAN
We feel that it is our duty being one of the largest distribu-
tors of merchandise in Lubbock to give our friends and cus-
tomers an idea of what we think the future holds for us all
and our plans for the future.
First and foremost our community as a whole is in much bet-
ter condition financially than the same period last year. The
only changed condition being that of actual liquidation of
debts instead of a prolongation of the time of paying as the
case was last year. In most every farm home there are plenty
of protection from high prices hogs chickens turkeys as
well as eggs and vegetables. They were caught this year
without these and unable to secure credit or cash. In other
words this year's crop was cheaply made the farmer
finding his independence from the banker and the merchant
a lesson that will bring prosperity through the coming
year.
Cotton acreage in Lubbock county will be more than doubled
according to the best information. Regardless of a slight
decline in the market price of this staple money will be
. i
realized from its growth and there will be money for jgood
sound purposes before harvesting of next season is over.
Merchants figuring on things going to pieces in Lubbock
county had just as well prepare their own funeral. Those
not counting on such disaster will do well in our minds to
put prices on their merchandise that will make friends out of
the consumers. A fair price and a fair profit on every article
sold is our plans for J 92 2. We believe that our business and
volume of business will continue better throughout trie com-
ing months. We are planning such a year and with the aid
of those going ahead to make the most and best of things
as they happen we will realize a materiliation of these plans.
Work. Shop and Save. Make 1922 a year of profit. Re-
member we are appreciative of your business and invite you
to do business with us.

A. (J. Riefenstnhl Route Agent for
the American Railway Kxpress Com-
pany for West Texas was here Tues-
day looking after the interests while
enroute to Brownfield.
The people of Lubbock are to be
congratulated for having with them
in the Kxpress office here Mr. Sen-
sahaugh who is at all times found
working with the best interest of
L'ibbock shippers and receivers in
mind and in this the A. M. R. Com-
pany too are winners for nowhere
can a man be found who i.s petting
along bet!.-i with the public than is
Mr. SeiiMibaiifh. The service he is
giving Lubbock in his work is help-
ing us to make n better shipping and
receiving record through his office
than many larger towns. It is so
eay to deal with Mr. Sensabaugh
that it is often the cose that he is
patronized because of this extra
ervief when the packages could be
handled through other tran'tiortation
agencies. If Lubbock was filled with
men like him we would be the best
mlwrtiM'd fla..e anywhere as he is
Blways looking ofter the interests of
his office in such a manner that it
will reflect well upon the entire citi-senhip.
