Notice i hereby given that an
election will be held on the 20th
day or May 1922 at the School
Hus" in Common School District
No. r of thi county a established
by Act of the Thirty-Fifth Legis-
lature of the State of Texas 4th
Called Session II. B. No. 17fi to de-
termine whether a majority of the
legally qualified property taxpaying
voters of that district desire the
issuance of bonds on the faith and
credit of said common school dis-
trict in the amount of 1:1000.00
the bunds to be of the denomina-
tion of $100.00 each numbered
consecutively from One to Thirty
both inclusive payable twenty years
from their date with an option of
redemption after Ten years from
their date and bearing 6 per cent
intercut per annum payable an-
nually on the 10th day of April of
each vear to provide funds to be
expended in payment of accounts
legally contracted for the purpose
of constructing permanent repairs
and conk-trurting an addition of
wood material to the wooden public
free school building of said dis-
triit and to determine whether the
commissioners' court of thi coun-
ty shall be authorized to levy hs-
esa and collect annually while said
bond or any of them are out-
standing a tax upon all taxable
J properly within said district sul-
I ficient to pay th current interest
Ion said bonds and provide a sinking
! fund sufficient lo pay the principal
at maturity.
E. H. Moody is hereby appointed
presiding officer of said election
and he shall select two judges and
two clerks to assist him in holding
the same and he shall within five
days after said election has been
held make due return thereof to
the commissioners' court of this
county aa is required by law for
holding a general election.
All persons who are legally qual-
ified voters of this State and of
thia county and who are resident
property taxpayers in said district
shall be entitled to vote at said
election.
Said election was ordered by the
county judge of this county by
order made on the 14th day of
April 1022 and thi notice is
given in pursuance of said order.
