Billy White as he is known to those
who knew him while he was a stu-

come and do the preaching in a meet-
ing to begin April 23 and close May
7. The time set for the beginning is
a week after Easter and the date for
closing is a short time before final
exams begin. The temperature at that
time will be pleasant and we plan to
hold the evening services on the
lawn. Mr. White is now pastor of
Br0adway Baptist church at Ft. Wor*H
havin gone to that work after spend-
ing two years as State Secretary at
the Texas Baptist Convention. He is
an attractive evangelistic preachcer
and a clean, loveable man.
We are askng all who are interest-
ed in the religious welfare of Rusk
to arrange their private affairs so
as to attend and Work in this meet-
ing, and their public affairs so as to
have no cdnflicting engagements
that can be avoided. The singers and
other musicians of all the churches
are invited to assist. We want this to
be not just another protracted meet-
ing but a revival that shall reach
with blessings our whole town and the
surrounding communities. We had a
good day last Sunday with one ad-
dition to the church . The Sunday
School and B. Y. P. U. attendance
was the best for several weeks. We
will have regular servcits next Sun-
day except that there will be no ser-
vices at night because the meeting be-j
gins at the Christian Tabernacle. Let
us not stay at home that night, but j
go to the tabernacle to hear Rev. ;
Wingo.
