base ball or other similar amusnients for

admission fee Is demanded $5.00 (for each

Seo. 47. When the annual tax Is $5 or
less It shall be paid for the entire year be-
fore a license Is Issued. No license shall
be issued for a less period than three
months. The receipt ol the assessor and
collector shall constitute the license. A I

Sec. 41). Tl.e preceding seclion shall not
be construed so as to ell'ectany civil rem
edy for tl.e collection of said taxes.
See. 50. Wien a license has been issued
to any person llrm or corporation to pur
sue any occupation hereiu moutinued said
license shall be and tl.e same are hereby
declared to be non-transferable.
Sec. 51. Any 01.0 prosecuted for a viola-
tion of th's ordinance shall have hlscaso
dismlsted upon tl.e payment of tho tax aud
accrued costs.
See. 52. It is hereby made tl.e duty of
tho assosor aud collector to report monthly
tl.e amount ol occupation taxes collected.
If the assessor and collector hull knowing-
ly fail or refuse to collect or try to culled
any occupat 0.1 tax or receive any occupa
tion tax without giving a legal receipt
therefor as herein provided reserving thu
proper si ub he shall bo deemeu guilty ol

Sec. 51. Tho mayor and city usscssor
and colleu'Di shall ciii.hu occupation tax
receipts to be printed with tLeir signatures
slid stubs in hlu.ik. which shall show when
a receipt In issued to whom and for what
occupation and f r how long it was Issued.
Sec. 54. The mayor and secretary shall
take tl.e assessor and collector's receipt
for tl.e amo'.nt of the total number of
blanks issued and at tl.e expiration of each
mouth shall check oil' the sumo aud see
that he had accounted for all receipts issued
up to date.
Sec. .'5. Every person who shall procure
a license shall have tl.e same posted In
so. no conspicuous place at his place of busi-
ness and upon conviction of luilure to do
so shull be llutd in any sum not less than
$5.on or more than $10 00. Tl.e murithal

structed any street or highway by fencing
or otherwise within the corporate limits ol

or shoot any gun or pistol within tne
corporate limits of the city ot r.ast
Dallas shall bo deemed guiltv of an
offense and be fined In the sum of uo
less than Ave ($WK)) dollars uor more
than fifty ($A0 00) dollars ; provided
further that this ordiuanco does not
forbid the uoressary shooting of rabid
dogs or burglar this ordinance to
take c licet from and after this pass-
