The exportation of oranges is prov

The corner-stone of the Maximilian
memorial cbapel at Mexico Citv was
recently placed. This little chapel is
to be erected on the exact spot where
Maximilian Miramon and Mejia were
shot. This will add another object of
interest to those visiting Queretaro.
There was a time when the authorities
would have forbidden tbe erection of
this chapel. The permission is now
granted with perfect safety as the
chapel will signify nothing more than
a pious mortuary memorial. It will
have no political significance and will
be visited by those who wish to offer
devotions according to the Catholic
creed for tbe eternal welfare of three
fellow-men who perished so brovely on
that spot. Special mass will be said
