WESTERN AREA DIRECTOR
Thelma J. Rice
We are off to Fresno and the 32nd Western Area
Conference. The hosting of this conference has been
a yeoman's job for the Fresno Chapter who is doing
it alone. The Chapter has done an outstanding job in pulling
it all together. By the end of this conference, the grapevine
would have gone from the "dancing raisins" to vintage wine.
My sincere thanks to the 34 members of the Chapter. They
deserve our praise!
The 32nd Conference will end this Administration's tenure,
and my affiliation with an executive committee that is
second to none. On behalf of the executive committee,
I thank you - the Chapters - for the support given us for
the past four years. There has been no request made that
Chapters have failed to respond. Each member of the
executive committee shares my appreciation and joins me
in saying Thank You.
My personal thanks to the Western Area for allowing me to
serve as your Area Director for the past four years. My past
endeavors have all been successes because they have
given me valuable experiences that I can pass on to my
successor.
Again, thanks for working together to promote programs,
principles and the purpose for which The Links, Inc. was
established.
We will end on a joyous note in FresnQ.
