SHORT
SERMONS
By
FRANK
SHEPHERD
The congregation that is re-
sponsible for these daily short
sermons denies being a denomi-
nation or a part of any denomi-
nation. It is but one of some
10,000 local, and independent,
congregations of believers in,
and worshippers of, the Lord Je-
sus Christ scattered through
out America, Great Britain, Au-
stralia, Africa, Asia, and Europe.
These churches do not have
any sort of denominational ties,
headquarters or organization.
They are absolutely independent
of each other. They did not have
any "Conventions", "Conferen-
ces", "Syriods", or "Associa-
tions", whatsoever. They ac-
knowledge whomsoever but the
Christ. They deny the right of
any man or group of men, to
make any laws, rules of discip-
line, or articles of faith to gov-
ern them in doctrine or practice.
These congregations in the ag-
gregate are registered by the
United States Government, as
well as by a foreign government,
as "churches of Christ". Romans
16:16. These congregations do
not confine themselves to the
use of this name exclusively but
contend for the right to use any
designation the New Testament
authorizes to be called upon a
congregation of saints anywhere.
The Sweetwater CHURCH OF
CHRIST invites you to listen In
Frank Shepherd over KXC*.
