1 course. 2 (d) The coordinating board shall require general academic 3 teaching institutions to offer the training required by this 4 section as soon as the coordinating board considers practical, but 5 not later than the 2013 fall semester. This subsection expires 6 January 1, 2014. 7 SECTION 2. The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board 8 shall adopt' rules for the administration of Section 51.305, 9 Education Code, as added by this Act, as soon as practicable after 10 this Act takes effect. For that purpose, the coordinating board may 11 adopt the rules in the manner provided by law for emergency rules. 12 SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives 13 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as 14 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this 15 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this 16 Act takes effect September'l, 2011.
