smelt its precipitates and ship the con
centrates which run more than $1300
go.ld to the ton.
The buildings of the Mariposa Min-
ing Company situated opposite Boqui-
las Tex. in the State of Coahuila were
recently destroyed by fire which origi-
nated by a strpke of lightning.
The Padre-Hoben Mining Company
which has its headquarters at Battle
Creek Mich. Is preparing to begin trie

George W. Dubes of New OrleanB is
installing a steam hoist compressor
and air drill upon his San Jose mine

shaft to a depth of 300 feet. It Is now

The Pacific Mining and Smelting
Company is overhauling its smelter at
Guaymas Sonora preparatory to put-
ting it in regular operation.
