The Weather.
The weather all over the State
for ten days has not been such as
the people would have had made-to-order.
Cold and bad clear to the
gulf is the general report. Over
the Panhandle snow has falllen to
a depth varying from six to ten
inches. Six inches would perhaps
cover the fall in this county. This
is equal to about 1 i inches of rain
and with the previous snows which
melted and were absorbed by moth-
er earth will make an excellent sea-
son just right for early grass and
spring seeding of crops. Where
small grain is already in these
snows practically insure a crop.
All told these snows have done a
world of good for this section of the
country and so far the stock inter-
ests are not injured to any great extent.
