H. S. Bornham and daughter

The Literary society was
thrown into a gloom of sadness
on its last meeting on account
if a member Jeff Thomas being
thrown from a horse. lie was
pronounced dead when found
but recovered. Last report he
was in a very serious condition.
Miss Ora Cage visited Mrs.
Day last Sunday.
Joe Daniel is erecting a new
residence on his ranch. They
are new people here and we are
glad to have them with us.
Bachelors say there are so
few girls on the Plains. Sun-
day a young man was seen driv-
ing around with three girls.
