Many 8oul Already Saved and Others
Coming at Every Service.
In l'.t of the bad weather lait
night KvanKcllst Adair spoke to a good
audience lie (hone a. hi. subject
"What Must 1 do to be Saved?"
"Tonight men are lost and Just drift-
ing on toward eternity; lost to him-
self to hia family and to the town.
You can know right now whether or
not you are lost. I haven't much atock
In the pra-r to the Lord to aave a
man at lam hiKh up In heaven. The
man wlla aaved right here need
have to fear a. to the time awny
np In heaven.
-You can know you ar lost from
experler.ee. Ay down In the hu
man heart every man know whether
or not l.e Is rlrl.t. Man If you ar
not rlgl.t I pray you thla rlfht to re
pent ar.d believe In Jf-su. Christ.
"God's spirit has told you that you
are o.t. God has so dealt with man
that he ha. not 1-ft him In the dark
as to hi. condition. I beg you ton'ght
not to turn down the spirit of God.
The man who I. turning down the
spirit of God I. turning away the best
friend of man.
"You must be willing to be saved.
Many men have their own Idea of how-
to be saved. Gnd' way I. the only
way. One fellow thinks he has to be
saved by crying and have a cyclone
hit him before he can be aaved: oth
er think that they have to go to the
morner'a bench and rl.e a .homing
and aaotber think he hai to come
through dry-eyed. Let u. atop going
on other people'a experience and try
God'a way. What you need I to get
a good rase of religion and go to
working at It. and you will begin to
love your enemle. If a man get
a good case of religion he will even
love his mother ln law.
"If you want to be saved you mu.t
repent of your ilns. Repentance
means a change of mind and heart.
It means that you turn around and
walk In the oppo.lte direction from
what you have been going. Repent-
ance means quitting your sins and
staying uult. Are you willing to do
It?
"Some people .ay I don't understand
how I can b saved. Son you don't
understand many thing.. The fellow
who stand behind this excuse has
v ry little iiense. I don't understand
I how God eight years ago took me a
drunkard and gambler. nd trans-
ferred my life and made me the child
of a king. I don't know whether he
gave me a new stomach or not. and
don't care. All I know Is that the old
one U working all right."
At the close of the sermon Mr.
Adair spoke on his experience tell
ing how he was Jed back to God
through the Influence of his little girl
who was five 'ears old. This story
moved the audience to tears as they
have never been moved before.
At the close of the service there
were five conversions.
The meeting Is just getting under
mod headwav to sweep the town.
Teople are getting; Interested as they
hare fw.ver been before. Bryan Is
on the verge of th greatest revival
of Its history. 161 conerslons which
have already been made. Is a great
meeting. Mr. Adair continues to fight
tin In every form. His outspoken
messages are having: their effect. H
says he Is a rrophet of God and must
speak the truth of God.
Thcro Is good music at every setr
Ice. If you have not been attending
thes. service you have been missing
something. If you come once you
will come again.

San Antonio Tex. Feb. Lieut
B. D. Foulies sixteen officers and ten
men from the signal corps and a
Wright aeroplane have arrived here
to make the first of a series of flights
on February 13. The operations will
take place on the new- parade grounds
of Fort Sam Houston and will be con-
ducted for the purpose of Initiating
the officers and men of Company T
of the signal corps In the mysteries
of aerial navigation by means of the
kite: Incidentally the value of the
aeroplane will be closely scrutinized
It Is understood that the war depart
ment is not at all sure of the merit
of the heavier than air machines and
that a series of tests will be needed
to settle this point. Owing to the
fact that there Is little meteorological
disurbance at Fort Sam Houston high
winds and cloudy days being practical-
ly absent the place has been decided
on by the authorities as the scene of
a final try-out of the aeroplane.
