DEFEATED TRINITY
A. and M. College Was Able to Score
but One Touch-down Against
Trinity However.
In the first game of the Intercolle-
giate season at College yesterday af
ternoon A. and M. College defeated
the Trinity University team by the
score of 7 to 0.
The Aggies failed to show class and
were outplayed In every quarter with
the exception of the third when A.
and M. scored on forward passes.
The score came in the first two min-
utes of the third quarter. Beasley gave
a forward pass to Hohn for 35 yards
and then another for 15 yards over the
goal.
Trinity worked the forward inss
frequently but were unable to get
away with it oi;ten. The game showt'd
conclusively that If the Aggies are to
accomplish anything In the football
world this season that miraculous Im-
provement must be made.
A. and Ms. next game is with Austin
