Hunt's California fruits.
We have just received our first ship-
ment of Hunt's California Fruits all va-
rieties. This is a new line with us selected
because of its superiority and which we
personally guarantee to be the .very highest
attainment in canned fruits. Every piece
of fruit canned by them is tree-ripened and
hand-peeled (not picked green and lye-
peeled) and the difference in taste and flavor
is marked.
We want you to call and see these goods
in glass and let us show you the variety of
fruits and different size cans. It is good to
see them whether you buy or not.

CARD FROM MAYOR HARRIS
The city council has ordered enoueh
4-Inch pipe to lay the line that has
been ordered on Ursuline avenue to
the city limits and will have enough
over to continue the line to the Ursu-
line convent The law prohibits the
council from expending any city
money for the extension of this line
outside the city limits. The pipe will
arrive within 48 hours and when the
city's part of the extension is made
the whole line should be completed
as it can be done at less expense
while the outfit is on the ground.
We trust the merchants and citi-
xens who are interested In the welfare
of the Ursuline convent will get to-
gether and subscribe a fund sufficient
to pay for the pipe and the extension
from the city limits to the convent
I am sure the entir city administra-
tion will contribute individually to this
cause.
W. W. HARRIS.
Mayor of Bryan.
