natures of CO per cent of the quail-
ged voters in the Bryan and Harvey
Justice precinct ware the election

The petition waa presented to the
court and the court ordered tho elec-
tion to be held In the two above
named precincts on Tuesday July S.
M: G. Buchansn and W. D. Tardier
were appointed to hold the election
at Harvey George Griffin and J. L.
Edge were appointed to hold the elec-
tion at the city hall and Dave Jolly
and Henry Crenshaw were appointed
to conduct the election at the court
house.
A petition was presented to ths
court asking for a change In tho Nfll-llean-White

end of the county but action on the

day by a fall of an aeroplane at Buc.
France.
Lieutenant Warneford was;41otlng
tha machine which had aa a paseon-
ger Henry Beach Needham. tha Ameri-
can writer who also waa killed. Lieu-
tenant Warneford and Needham fell
from a height of 500 feet.
The lieutenant had been spending a
few daya lu Paris where he came
after his Zeppelin exploit to receive
bis decoration of the legion of honor.
According to a report received in
Paris tho accident resulted from an
explosion In midair which caused
Lieutenant Warneford to lose control
tha machine crashing to earth.
Needbam's body waa taken to tho
Kngllah hospital In Trianon palace.
Versailles. Ha had been In Europe
about four months acting as corres-
pondent of magatlnee and a New York
newspaper. He had received permis-
sion to make a flight in order to get
material for a story.
