everything possible waa done for her
that human skill could do at the
Bryan Hospital she was carried
borne with no hope held out for ulti-
mate recovery. It was known that
her death was only a matter of time
but as The Eagle has said before
there Is no such thing as preparation
for the death of a loved one. As long
as there Is life there Is hope ana
when the end cornea finally tbe blow
is Just as bard tbe sorrow Just as
great as if there bad been no previous
preparation. So It was In this case.
Day after day and night after night

mained by ber bedside never relaxing
their vigils anticipating ber every

In her life there was absolutely no
selfishness her heart was full of love
and she wss always happiest when
doing something for others. Her
bole life waa a life of love of sacri-
fice of service and in this she found
ber greatest Joy.
During the long months and years
of her Illness not one complaint not
one murmur ever escaped ber lips.
But with a patience and fortitude
'born of heaven she bore her suffer
tnie bravely often expressing ber
willingness to go when the Msrter
called and speaking words of com-
fort and consolation to those whom
the waa to leave behind.
