ing at Dayton, spent the week end
ihere with their parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Lee Moseley.
St. Sgt. H. W. Deal of Ft. Worth
spent the week end here with his
mother, Mrs. Dora Deal and other
relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Lindstrum
of Lufkin and Mrs. Elbert Banks
attended the Texas-A&M football1
game at Austin, Thursday. While
there, they were the guests of
Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Beall.

back into the service as an Air
Force Chaplain, and is stationed
at Carlisle Barracks. Pennsyl-
vania. Chaplain Murdoch is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Murdoch

Vi cup sugar 4 teaspoons water
Turn on oven; set at very slow (300°).
Grease a qt. baking dish. Mix bread
cubes with raisins, nuts, milk and Vi
cup water. Let stand. Put butter into
bowl; blend in mixture of sugar, salt
and spices. Beat in egg. Stir in bread
mixture. Then stir in mixture of sodx
and 4 teasp. water. Put into greased
baking dish. Bake 25 min., then stir;
bake about 55 min. longer, or until
firm and brown. Serve warm. Make9
