Ah, oh, Emily and Lukie are at
it again. My, My, these love quar-
rels.
Lou Gene is still talking about
J'ville.
Martha Jean has really been
puzzling me. I still don't know
her true love's name.
Who does Kenneth S. keep mak-
ing those goo-goo eyes at? Is she
a blond Kenneth?
What has happened to Norman
and Gloria? How about it?
That sure is a pretty silver foot-
ball you have around your neck.
Barbara S. Is it yours?
All of the kids love to hear
Freddie Merl, Coach Thompsons)
little girl, call her daddy. She
calls him "Hotie Dogie".
Who was it who missed her bus
Moday afternoon? Better be care-
ful Edine.
Our "A" string basketball play-
ers have acquired new rftimes.
They are:
Terry the Playboy, Luther the
Lonely, Wayne the Shrimp, Bobby
— Alfalfa, Charles — Wheatie,
Curly — "Goo-Goo", Joe Max —
Trailor, Neil — Hat, Harold — ,
Tall Timber, Jimmy — Low Club.
Aren't they thrilling.
Louverl has really gone May-
delle on us. She was with Dug a-
gain Saturday night.
Whee, Grace and Pete are still
going strong.
I see Patsy has that ring a-
round her neck. It shore is "purty"
I think J. C. is "purty" too.
Marilyn and Wanda looked like
they sure were having fun Sat-
urday niKht. I bet Bons and Har-
vel had fun too.
Who is that Pearly has been
going with lately? Tell me all a-
bout him Pearly.
I saw Maxine and Rosie Lee
riding around Saturday night.
What happened to Samuel and
Bill?
Whoa there, Joe Max, you and
Nancy are really racking on.
Cute couple.
ttCEHSED
Gosh, Ray Boyce, whose good
looking car were you driving Sat-
urday at Doches? Your Aunts did
you say? Helen seemed to like it
too.
That Charlie and Joy Nell are
really an inseperable pair.
I've just heard that a girl from
San Augustine sure does think
Harry Ray is cute. We'd better
watch him.
Who were the boys who went
to J'ville Friday night? Did you
say Harlan, James, and Curly?
What will Sue and Betty say? I
think they have already said.
Clarance and Marilyn took in
the hayride Friday night. Good-
ness, what a pair.
Wayne was with that little black
headed girl again at the ballgame.
Sure wish I knew who she was.
Edwin and Judy were also at
the ballgame.
Marlys Ann was really chewing
that gum at the ballgame. Was it
really that good?
Mary Joyce is minus that medal
this week. Sure was a quick love
affair.

American Industry
A renounces P ans
Fo' ' cr?struciio
American industry has an-
nounced plans for the future
construction of more new in
dustries in the Gulf South than
was let to contractors in the entire
United States in 1949, according to
a full page advertisement, publish-
ed by United Gas, that will appear
in a group of national magazines
during December.
The huge construction program
"is 26 percent of all the indus-
trial building now being planned
in the country. It will cost more
than one billion dollars, and it
is all 'private money'," the ad-
vertisement points out.
Appearing in the Dec. issue of
Time Magazine, other publica-
tions that will carry the message
to milions of readers later in the
month include: Wall Street
Journal, Dec. 12; Newsweek,
Dec. 13; U. S. News, Dec. 2;.,
Business Week, Dec. 30; and the
January issue of Manufacturers
Record.
The advertisement is one of a
continuing series that United Gas
has v for several years published
at regular intervals to call atten-
tion to the opportunities offered
tor the location of new industrial
plants in the Gulf South States of
Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Ala-
bama and Florida.
The current advertisement urges
business leaders "to consider the
wide diversification of raw ma-
terials, the abundance of indus-
trial water and electric power, the
easy availability of low-cost nat-
ural gas.

Thank you,
