To plan and carry out a virile, vital program
of Scooting in our council and onr district.
To ensure that every boy lias a fair chance
to advance at least one rank in 1959.
To see that this year every Boy Scout can
have at least ten days and nights of camping
year round and every Explorer has the op-
portunity to participate in at least five days
and nights of trips and Explorer activities
away from home.
To undergird the program with sufficient
financial support.
To safeguard the health and safety of all
members and train them to help others and
themselves.
To organize enough units of all kinds so
that every boy has a unit near at hand to
join.
To train unit leaders and other Seouters to
he more effective.
To help institutions and units make the best
use of the Scouting program.
To make our institution a true partner with
Scouting and a genuine home for a pack, a
troop, and an Explorer unit.
To recruit the best possible Cubmaster,
Scoutmaster, Advisor, Den Mothers, and as-
sistants for our units.
To do our best to give a really worthwhile
program to the boys under our care and to
help other hoys become Scouts.
