One of the most dangerous run-
aways was seen this afternoon
though we have from one to
three every1 day. Bob Anderson
of Hodges stepped into Bass'
drug store and his.four big horses
with a big cotton wagon flew
down Pino street scattering teams
and pedestrians in all directions
several narrow esoapes being
noted. The big mesquite tree
north of Miller's corner grocery
stopped them the leaders going
on up the street. Not muoh
damage done.
Dr Grizzard attending physi-
oian decided that an operation
for appendioitis was indispensi-
ble in Sam Cope's oase and he
was taken to the Alexander San-
itarium to be operated on this af-
ternoon. Grave fears are enter-
'tained as to the final results in
the oase.
