SPORTS NEWS
The Brahmas won their fourth
conference game as they rolled
over Hughes Springs, 75-45. Perry
McMichael scored 30 points. This
is his highest total for one game.
The Brahma "B" team won
their second game of the season
when they beat Hughes Springs'
"B" team, 56-26. Roy Frank Ap-
person was high man with 22
points.
The Brahmas ended up the first
round with a 4-2 record. They are
tied for third place behind James
Bowie and Liberty.
The Brahmas were to play host
to Queen City and Talco this week
to begin the second round.

Mid-term exams started Thurs
day, Jan. 19. The tests for the
morning classes were given on

were given Friday. School was
over each day at 2 p.m.
The students seem quite reliev-
ed since all of the exams are over
but for some it may not be so
good when they get their report
cards.
