Awards:—Troops must enter
teams for at least seven events
to compete for Troop Awards.

drst; Red, second; White, third.
Score: All events—First place
5 points; Second, 3; Third 1.

2. Wall-Scaling: Regulation
wall 9 ft. 6 in. high, ba^e 4 ft.,
top 5 in., run 10 yds. from start
to wall, and run 10 yds. from
wall to finish line.
Team: 8 Scouts, tenuis shoes
or stocking feet. One entry each
troop.
8. First Aid: Team to furnish
bandages. Scouts run 25 yds.
to patient, lying on ground, ,ap-
ply triangular bandageto head,
spiral reverse from wrist to el-
bow, put arm in sling, triangular
bandage, form four-banded seat
and carry patient to startiug
line at a walk. Team: 3 Scouts,
2 meq, and patient. One entry
each troop.
4. Water Boiling: Water must
boil over;' spilling disqualifies.
Team may have 2 Scout axes,
(hand). 2 knives. Team will be
furnished one quart cup. single-
ply tin, full of water, and two
sticks of wood, 2x4x18, and two
matches. No preliminary set-
ting-cf fire permitted.
Team: 2 Scouts. One entry
each troop.
5. Knqt Tying: Speed event,
Time and correctness to count.
Single fiel formation ruus 50 ft.
and ties knots required by judges.
Tenderfoot Knots: Square, Bow-
line, Shoopshank, Fisherman
Bond, Clove, Slip, Shoot-Bond,
Figure Eight.
Note: Names of knots will be
printed on cards and shuffled be-
fore being handed to the judges.
This event will require a knowl-
edge of all the knots, by the
members of the team.
Team. 8 Scouts. One entry
each troop.
(5. Nail Driving Relay: Speed
event. Time^nd correctness to
count. Equipment: 1 Scout band
axe, and S lOp. nails. Single file
formation behind captain, who
has axe, on line 25 yds. from
log. Each contestant will be
given 1 nail. On signal, first
man will run to line (25 yds.)
aud drive nail into log, return to
line and baud bis axe, by the
handle, to the next man in line
who repeats the performance,
and so on till all have driven
their nails iu to the log. Line
must then stand at attention
with arms over heads. Team
must furnish own axe.
3eore: Nail to count must be
driven in up tohead. Nails count
off. Team.: 8 Scouts. One en-
try each troop.
7. String Burn: Fire buildiug
event. Speed to count. Eqnip-
ment: 1 Scout band axe, 2
Scout knives, to be furnished by
the contestants, 2 matches, 1
piece of pine 2x4x86. Two hea-
vy strings are stretched between
two uprights, four foot a part.
One striug to be 18 in. from the
ground and the other 24 in.
above the ground. No Are lay
can be higher than the lower
string. Cbntestants on a line '25
ft. at signal. No preparation be-
fore starting signal and no aids
except clothing and lungs per-
mitted. Team burning top
string first wins event.
Team: 2 Scouts. One entry each
troop.
8. Fire by Friction: Apparatus
used by Scout must be made of'
materials to be found in United |
States. Tinder to be natural j
material. The following are,
