House called to order and meeting
was opened by singing, "Rock of
Ages," after which opening prayer
was led by our Teacher, Mrs. Jesse j.
G. Cooke. A real good devotional
was brought by Mrs. W. C. Bla-;
lock, after which the President,;
Mrs. H. C. Grubbs presided over j
the business session. Secretary's I
report showed good work done dur-
ing the past month. Other officers^
made good reports.

The Linden Junior 4-H Club
meeting will be Saturday, June 15,
instead of Friday June 14 as was
announced previously, due to th e
fact that Miss Murray has a mat-
tress demonstration to make on
Friday.
The meeting will be held at the
home of Miss Gwendolyn Worn- |
mack at 9 a. m. Miss Murray will j
give a demonstration in killing and J
dressing chickens, after which the j
chickens will be barbequed and j
eaten for lunch. All club members j
are urged to be present and do not j
