VOL. 38.
LINDEN, TEXAS, TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 1913. NO. 38.
Peacemaker Wlour
Put up by the Alliance Milling Company
of Denton, ' Texas, and sold by I. N.
Marett is pure and white, and the fact
that it has been awarded more gold
medals at the State and World Fairs is
evidence that it has no equal.
Call at I. N. Marett's store and get one,
sack of Peacemaker Flour and try it and
you will become a constant buyer of this
flour, and you will avoid the sad experi-
ence that "John" had as related in the
following lines:
John s.'jys to Marainlii, "I'll £<> to Linden to tliiv,"
M wmii! 1 l says, 'Y.v, an 1 all ilay yo;i will stay."
.John soys, - Marnmla, we <;ot to have Hour for morn,
Or 'at hard old hoecake made out'eu corn."
John went to Linden at. some old place,
And got a sack of flour thai had no taste.
And the bnscuit they had nexi morn,
War-TeVen harder than bread made'out of old corn.
Mavanda savs, "John. I'll sue you for a divorce next May,
If you don't take that old sack of Hour away.
You go to f. .\. Marett's store and get 1tkack.maki5"h Fi.oi k,
And dont you begone more than one-half hour."
John moved and he moved swift I say,
Because he knew what would happen that May court, day
And when he returned with Pgachmakkh Fi.ot'U,
Maranda's face did not look so sour.
Maraud a made buseuit so nice and light,
That John could eat all he wanted and not feel tight.
The joy that I'kackmakeh Flock to ft home will bring,
Will almost make the angels of Heaven sing.
If you want peace and happiness in your home every hour,
(if) to l.N.Marett's store and get a sack of I'lCAtKMAfcEit Fun it.
