The death of Gilbert Wayne .Jack
son twenty-six years old occurred at
thc home of his father seven and one-
half miles east of Drownwood in the
Jenkins Springs community. Inter-
ment was made in the Jenkins
Springs cemetery Wednesday alter-
nodn at J o'clock -Rev. Mr. Newton
conducting thc funeral service.
Deceased was born in Coke county
Toxus May 2 1S02. He was a farmer
and had lived at the home of his fa-
ther John H Jackson in this county
for a number of years.

than himself (Ferguson) that he canr
not qualify for governor even If he
should get a majority vote and as I
do not want to throw my. vote away
