oats led an upturn in grain prices to-
day during the early dealings. Pre-

ing station markets of the lower' Rio
Grande valley yesterdny were mostly
unchanged In price notwithstanding
the heavy movement that has rolled
in the past few days. Wednesday this
state shipped 145 of the total 215 cars
out and Thursday of the S9 cars roll-
ed 76 of which were Florida thi3 state
was incompletely reported as the ori-
gin of but 6. Other commodities re-
ported rolling Thursday were mixed
vegetables Texas 7 incomplete total
49 with a previously unreported for
March 26th -of 25 Texas of a total of

cars.
Jobbing markets were steady to firm
on cabbage' Friday except for Pitts-

WELCH W. Va.. March 28. The
bodies of 13 mincr3 who met death
this morning in an explosion in mine
No. 2 of the Yukon-Pocahontas Coal
Co. at Okon W. Va. were recovered
by volunteer rescue workers this af-
ternoon. Thirteen other men trap
ped in the workings also were believ

Anderson 62 senior pastor of the
First 'Presbyterian church of Dallas
died at his home today after a brief
