Clean-Up Wek Will
Be Here Soon; People
Urged to Get Ready
The week of March 3i to pril 5 has
been set aside as gcnoral clean up
week over Texas and the people of
Brownwood In order to placo this
town now attracting more attention
than any other town of its size in the
United States squarely on the Map
Beautiful and Map Attractive for all
the big conventions and the thousands
of visitors who are coming to this city
during the present year. Even if
there were no conventions or other
big functions the idea of brushing up
and putting on Sunday clothes so to
speak Is a good one. A general clean
up brighton up and paint up cam-
paign has been started. The Central
Committee of the West Texas Cham-
ber of Commerce wants every citizen
of Brownwood to enter heartily into
this -movement. Repaint residences
stores store fronts fences outhouses
burn trash and clean up generally.
Let every citizen do his or her part
and Brownwood will indeed be the
city beautiful.
