tor in Brownwood Sunday.
Miss Sybell Shropshire of Brady was
a guest of her brother. William Shrop-
shire and Mr. and Mrs. Hen Shrop-
shire on Sunday and Monday while
enroute to other points in Texas on
vacation visits.
Mrs. Sterling Gilliam left Sunday
for her home in Cisco. She was ac-
companied by her sister Bessie Ter-
rell Meeks.
Mrs. G. Clark Street of Cleburne is
a guest of her parents Mr. and .Mrs.

Miss Winnie Heard ban returned
from a vacation visit in Galveston
Houston and Bangs.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Humor re-
turned Sunday from an overland trip
to Cuero and other Texas points.
Mr. and 3!rs. Harold Hunter have
returned from a visit in Cuero and
other points. They made the trip
overland.
Mr. and IMrs. Volney Joekel are
spending a few days in San Angelo
and Ozona.
Mr. and Mrs. Roland McClellan. Jr..
left in their car for San Angelo and
Ozona today. Mrs. McClellan plans
to return home from. Ozona while Mr.
.McClellan . goes to other points over
the territory.
W. K. Scrimgeour left Sundav for
Galveston where he will spend a few.
days. He will return about Wednes-
day accompanied by his daughter
and Luella McQueen.
Miss Bertha Stone of Galveston was
a guest of Mrs. W. R. Scrimgeour on
Sunday while enroute to California
and Salt Lake City on a vacation visit.

morning for their home in De Latin
after a visit with Mr. and Mrs. C L

Miss Janie Peavy has relumed from
Edna and Denton. In Demon Miss
Peavy took a special summer course
in the College of Industrial Arts.

Edna for a visit with Mrs. Toland'H
father. W. W. Peavv.
Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Bentley will ar-
rive tonight for a visit with Mr. and
.Mrs. Jesse M. Perry.
Alias Addie Perry has returned from
a visit in San Antonio.
Misses Anna 'Mae and Agnes Hunter
returned Sunday night from a visit in
San Antonio Austin and Cuto.
Mr. and Mrs. L. K. Willis and son
Hubert will leave tonight for Fort
Worth to reside.
