retained as- permanent headquarters

In order that every chairman of the
different committees may be heard and
final reports turned In as a matter of

General committee has called a. meeting-of
the General Committee and the
Chairmen of all the othc? committees
that had anything whatever to do with
making the recent fire convention the
great success that it -was for next
Tuesday night and in doing so he asks
that the members of the General com
mittee and the chairmen of the other
committees be his guest at Lakewood
where Jf they choose they can com-
bine business with pleasure by taking
a 'swim at the conclusion of the mat-

like the firemen their wives and la-
dies be their host at any time the
only regret being that the three days
passed all too soon and the hour of
parting came just as everybqdy was
beginning to get tfell acquainted.
Many Ladies Present.
There were. many ladies in attend-
ance and in addition to the list of;
names given in the Bulletin Wednes-
day the following are now added the

ley and she stated that it was prob-i

whom were visiting friends here and

many of the old timers wore not pres-
ent much to his sorrow and to those
who were still living and unable tp
attend he hoped tho time would soon
come when they would be restored to
thdir usual health and vigor. Tfie ad-
dress of Miv Johnson was well re-
received and heartily applauded.
Mrs. L. N. Hofet of Victoria repre-
senting the Ladlos Auxiliary of the
fire department of -that .city deliver-
ed a fine address advocating the form-
ing of such auxiliaries at evory town
in the State where there was a fire
department and showing in many ways
