cuss Telephone Problems.
A meeting of managers of fourteen
exchanges of the West Texas Tele-
phone company will be held in Brown-
wood Thursday and Friday Jan. 18
and 19 according to an announce-
ment made today by F. W. Greber
general manager of the concern. In
addition to the exchange managers
two representatives of the South-
western Telegraph- & Telephone Com-
pany will be present at the meeting.
A program is now being arranged
by Mr. Greber. The object of the
gathering is to bring the managers
of the company into close touch with
their business to exchange opinions

eral betterment of. the company. ;
The two representatives off the
sonthwestern Telegraph & Telephone
company who "will" be in- the city are
from San Saba and Lampasas; the
only two cities in this section of the
state in which that company ; -operates
San Saba is as far west in this par-
ticular section of -;the state tbdt that
large concern maintains exchanges.
The idea of a nicefing of the man-
agers of the West Texas Telephone
company is in accordance with the
plans of all the telephone companies
in the state to get a closer co-operation
from their employes. The meet-
ing in Brownwood will b the' first
of a series of meeings to be held at
regular intervals. . .
