Reported l.'JO Feet of Oil In Well on
Waddle Lease-
While the report has been uncon
firmed it is stated that oil has risen
loll foot in the well being drilled by
the Lohn OU Co. on the C H. Waddle
land at Lohn. The well Is down to a
depth of 460 feet. The high winds on
Friday whipped out the fires In the
engine and made drilling operations
impossible and during the temporary
suspension of the work the oil rose in
the well as above stated. It Is hoped
that' a test will verify the statement.
The well is located about five miles
from the Meers wells; and should the
report of oil being discovered be cor-
rect it will practically prove that
thft Lohn valley overlies an immense
lake of oil. Brady Standard.
