X J. Holder of Blanket Takes Sec-
ond Day's Contest With Fast

So much interest was manifested in
the. goat roping contest on Wednesday (
that a second contest was arranged
for Thursday afternoon. In the con-
. test A. J. Holder of Blanket who won
tie Ford car in the first day's con-
test was again winner and establish-
-ed the record brenking time of 12 2-5
seconds. In a second contest between
Holder and Enmiett Buck of Ozona
the champion tied five goats in SS2-5
secondsan average of IT 7-10 seconds
per goat. Buck did not tie his fifth
. goat because the time made in tieing
four was greater than Holder's time
.for five goat?.
The prizes for the second day's
roping were arranged by the Cham-
ber of Commerce.. Twenty-two ropers
paid an eh.trace Fee of each and
this was divided as follows: First
prize SCO pecood prize. third prize
$5. The remaining ! was retained
by the Chamber of Comenvrce to pay
the extn? of the contest. The win-
