MINSTREL II SUCCESS
Rain Intorfored With Crowd But tlic
Alrdome "Was Comfortably
Filled.
Last night was minstrel night at the
Alrdome and of course the people
turned out. In great numbers to witness
the performance of the Brownwood
ladies It was likewise a benefit for
the Floral Club Which was still an
other inducement to attract the
crowds. The white-faced minstrel was
participated in by some forty tor more
ladies and a half a dozen young gentle-
men and It can be said that the per-
formance was a success in more ways
than one. First It was a success finan-
cially and second the people felf that
the performance was worth the admis-
sion price. The specialties were ex-
ceptionally good and the jokes kept the
audience roaring. The performers
were accorded unstinted applause
throughout. The Floral Club realized
a neat sum as a result of their ef-
forts. The minstrel opened with an over-
ture by orchestra and chorus follow
ing which came the entre of the end
men. In the jokes and conundrums
propounded some hard raps
