The Bulletin has received a letter
from Mrs. G. R. Scott chalnnaa of
the special committee on parks and
school grounds of the Texas Federa-
tion of Women's Clubs as follows:
"It Is with pleasure that I note
from your paper the splendid dona-
tion of land for a park by Mr. and
Mrs. S. R. Coggln of your city.
Brownwood Is indeed to be congratula-
ted on being the recipient of so gen-
erous a gift and also in numbering
among her citizens those who are so
public-spirited. Texas would indeed
be blessed if she had more of that
type.
"1 was also pleased to see the ap-
pointment of a committee from th"
various "Women's Clubs" of your city
to act with the Park committee from
the city council. this necessarily
means that all will feel an interest in
the work and the clib women will in
deed lend a helping hand.
"1 shall take pleasure in making
this gift prominent in my report to
the Texas Federation of Women's
Clubs In San Angelo.. Very Truly.
