A Trip to Niagara Falls
(By Miss Glen Vale Patterson)
f (By Miss Glen Vale Patterson).

most beautiful cities in the United
States our party consisting of elev

many vivid descriptions such as
Stoddard gives us my little narrative
may not be very interesting to some;

yet had the opportunity to read Stod-
dard's pictures to wbom this would
give 'a simple suggestion of the
most wonderful spots in our country.

and across the wide river before it is
checked by the rapid water coming
from the fall. The water from this
tunnel rises in big bulky sheets when
it hits the river. These sheets are
about ten feet high at first anJ are
as white as crysteal. Then it rises
and falls again and again; each rise
being a little lower than the one ex-'
ceeding it. The sprays rise here as
they do at the falls and the most
perfect rainbow shows itself in these
sprays. ' j
Since we wished to save our en
ergy for other walks our party took
the elevator from the -bed of the riv-
er to the park. This is one of the
most beautiful parks ever. The trees
