PROPOSES TO ESTABLISH
WAGON-BUGGY FAGfQRY
Largo Firm in the East Will Locate
a Factory in Brownwood for
$15000 Bonus;
Thef commercial club which has
been conducting a campaign to secure
factories has received a proposition
from 5a firm in the east to establish
a large wagon-buggy factory in
Brownwood for a $15000 bonus. They
guarantee to employ not less than
fifty men and to start off in good
shape. The matter is receiving the
careful attention of the manufactur-
ing committee many of whoa: believe
.-.. V. would be better to concentrate our
efforts in completing the many pro
jects now under way while others
think we can go ahead and complete
them and take oa others also and
that there should be no cessation in
our developments. Right at present
however with the entire state's crop
outlook it is going to be a difficult
M' matter to raise large bonuses.

MYSTERIOUS MURDER
OF DENISDN WOMAN
Lying- on Her Bed in Fool of Blood.
MrfU Joseph Wolf is Found
By Her Daughter.
Dehlson August 8. Lying In a pool
of her own blood on a bed with her
throat cut nearly from side to aide
Mrs. Joseph Wolf was found dead this
afternoon at 2oclock at her home.
The grewsome discovery was made by
her daughter Mrs. Hendricks who
summoned the officers and coroner.
The affair is a deep mystery to the
.officers who are investigating the
case On the theory that the woman
might have taken her own life the
officers first on the scene looked for
a knife but none could be discovered.
The-room where the body was found
wasi searched thoroughly In every
nook and corner but. this investiga-
tion failed to bring to light any wea-
pon with which the cutting might have
been done.
The state of affairs leads the offi-
cers to the belief that the woman was.
murdered. The jugular ?eln was sev-
ered and consequently if the wound
was self-inflicted a knife would have
fallen some place near the body or at
least in the room.
Mrs. Wolf was a woman of 53 years
of age in moderate circumstances.
Her husband Is a bricklayer and was
working in another part of the city
when his wife's body was found. He
had taken his dinner with him slace
he was at work some distance from
home. Mrs. Wolf was last seen alive
by her daughter this morning betweeK
9 and 10 o'clock when she was at benji-s
daughter's home several blocks from
her own. The family feel confldemt T
that Mrs. Wolf did not take her owm
life but that she was murdered.
The coroner announces that he wilJ
withhold his verdict until the case is ;
investigated further. .
