General Superintendent and the pas-
tor of the church.
The evening was spent in discuss-
ing pittas for the new year and the
work of the department was dis-
cussed at length. After the. business
session a social hour tfollowcn when
music was contributed and dainty re-
freshments were served.

Mrs. John T. Yantis entertained
with a quail breakfast Wednesday iii
compliment to Miss Ruth Rogers and
her guest. Miss Almira Baker. Cov-
ers were laid for Misses Rogers Ba-
ker and Yantis and the hostess.
An Outing-.
Monday afternoon Mrs. I. J. Minis
chaperoned a number of young peo
ple on an. outing. The party motor
ed to the Nichols homo four miles
from the city and enjoyed-an after-
noon with outdoor-sports followed by
the serving of a lovely dinner at the
Nichols home.

Friday" Mr. and Mrs. G. Low en-
tertained at their country home when
a delicious turkey dinner was the
feature of the day. Tho home decora
tions were bright and cheery Christ
mas suggestions and the day was
