Mrs. Lula Dunn of Rockwall vis-
ited here Tuesday.
Mrs. J. C. Forder, Margaret,
Charles and Johnny LeRoy ac-
companied Mrs. Douthitt of Wy-
lie to points in West Texas for a
visit Thursday.
Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Husk of
Bakersfield, Calif., and Mrs. Nick
Davis of Oceanside, Calif., left for
their homes Monday after a visit
with the Gracy family.
Recent visitors with Mrs. Dol-
lie Williams and J. L. were Mrs.
Virgil Handy of Olney and Mrs.
Maurine Watkins of Garland.
Theh* week-end visitors were Mrs.
Virgie MsCain of Nevada and
Mrs. Ellen Abell of Josephine.
Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Montgomery
were visitors with Mrs. Albert
Taylor Sunday afternoon. They
had visited with their daughter
and family, Mr. and Mrs. George
Sitton, in Dallas for lunch Sun-
day.
Gerald Watkins and his grand-
mother, Mrs. Addie Stout, were
visitors in Tyler Sunday. Gerry
remarked that his best girl was
riding in his '56 Ford Sunday.
Mrs. Ray Smith, Mrs. Bruce
Webb and Venita attended the
funeral of Mr. Jacobs in Rock-
wall Thursday.
Community High played the
Blue Ridge High Thursday night.
Score was 8 to 7 in favor of
Blue Ridge. Better luck, next
time!
Gracy Family Reunion
A reunion of the Gracy family
was held Saturday night at the
Lavon School building. 136 at-
tended with a representation on
hand from California and Okla-
homa and 15 Texas towns. This
was the first time in more than
40 years the four living brothers
and two sisters had been togeth-
er. Out-of-state visitors were Mr.
and Mrs. F. W. Husk of Bakers-
field, Calif., and Mrs. Nicky Da-
vis of Oceanside, Calif; and Mrs.
Lizzie Lantz of Ponca City, Okla.
Dinner was served, then visiting
to get the news from all.
