SACHSE
Sachse Police Chief Tom
Fenley reported the following
incidents which took place
between Dec. 27 and Jan. 1:
Dec. 27: A suspicious
vehicle was reported in the
1900 block of Cornwall, but
jjolice checked and found that
driver was there feeding
®pets for the homeowner.
Dec. 28: Criminal mischief
was reported in the 3300
block of Seventh Street. A
report was taken on damage
to a vehicle; police are
investigating.
Dec. 29: Police filed a report
on an assault in the 3800
block of Missouri Street. A
disturbance was reported at a
business in the 5500 block of
Hwy. 78. A prowler was
reported in the 2800 block of
Fourth Street, but police were
unable to locate anyone.
Dec. 30: A warning was
given for loud music in the
3400 block of Salmon. A
report was filed on an assault
in the 5900 block of Hwy. 78.
A person was arrested for
outstanding warrants.
A house was burglarized in
the 3200 block of Bryan
Street. Police made a security
check in the 3400 block of
Blossom. Harassing plhone
calls were reported in the
4800 block of Peachtree. A
report was filed on a person
who accidentally shot himself
in the 3400 block of Blossom.
Dec. 31: Police checked on
suspicious circumstances in
the 7200 block of Hwy. 78. An
investigation is under way on
a disturbance in the 3800
block of Missouri. Police
contacted persons discharg-
ing air rifles within the city
limits in the 1500 block of
Blackburn. A loud noise
disturbance was reported in
the 3800 block of Lillie. A
person was arrested for
outstanding warrants at the
police department.
Jan. 1: Mace was
accidentally sprayed on a
person in the 5100 block of
Brookview; Fire Department
responded. A reckless driver
was reported in the 5100
block of Greensboro.
Fireworks were discharged
within the city limits in the
6800 block of Coral.

Dec. 26-Jan. 1 reads as
follows:
Dec. 26: The owner of loose
livestock reported at FM 1378
and FM 2514 was notified. A
disturbance in the 800 block
of Mardi Gras resulted in an
arrest on warrants. A minor
accident took place at S.
Fourth at E. Oak. A person
was injured in an accident on
the moto-cross trails. Police
gave a warning to persons
discharging firearms at Glen
Knoll Mobile Home Park.
Police assisted with unlocking
a vehicle on N. Ballard. Extra
patrol was required after
criminal mischief occurred
on Lucy Lane. A warning was
given for a noise disturbance
on Wyndham. Arrest on
warrants was made at a
disturbance at Lakeside
Village Apartments.
Dec. 27: Police assisted the
Department of Public Safety
at a major accident at N. Hwy.
78 and FM 205.
Dec. 28: A prowler call on
Hillside View was referred to
the county. Police issued a
warning on Riverview Court,
scene of a family violence
call. A disturbance was settled
at the scene in the 500 block
of Ewing Way. A report was
taken on a forgery at a
business on Hwy. 78. Police
gave a warning to persons
involved in a domestic
disturbance in the 300 block
of Kirby. a disturbance and
criminal trespassing were
reported at Wylie Butane
Mobile Home Park. Police
were unable to locate the
source of the criminal
mischief reported in the 1900
block of E. Brown.
Dec. 29: A fight was settled
at First and Oak. Possible
suicide in Lucas was referred
to the county. A report was
taken on the burglary of a
home in the 200 block of W.
Marble. Animal Control
handled the loose cows
reported in the 1900 block of
N. Hwy. 78. A call on criminal
mischief in the 300 block of
Winding Oaks resulted in a
warning. Police were unable
to locate a prowler reported in
the 100 block of N. Jackson.
Loose cattle were removed
from the roadway on Linda
Lane.
Dec. 30: A warning was
given for noise disturbance in
the 1000 block of S. Hwy. 78.
A vehicle with a parking
violation was removed from
Memorial Drive. Police took a
report on burglary of a vehicle
at Southfork Mobile Home
Park. The county handled a
call about a juvenile
disturbance at FM 1378 and
the Seis Lagos area
Dec. 31: Noises reported in
the 500 block of Birmingham
were made by an antennae
hitting the house. Police sent
extra patrol to Trails Place
Apartments where criminal
mischief of a vehicle was
reported. Prowlers were
reported in the 600 block of
Stoneybrook, but were not
located. A vehicle was stolen
from the 500 block of Kathy
Lane. The sheriff's office was
called about stolen property
from a storage building on
Brown Street. A disturbance
was settled in the 700 block
of Hwy. 78. Wylie firemen
investigated smoke at
Lakeside Village Apartments.
An assault with a vehicle was
reported in the 800 block of
Birmingham. An ambulance
was required for an
emergency in Copeville. The
owner of barking dogs in the
400 block of W. Marble was
contacted. Police were unable
to locate the person
supposedly firing shots in the
Windsor area Disturbances
were noted in the 500 block
of John Ross and on Trails
Place.
Jan. 1: The county handled
the call of a disturbance in the
1900 block of E. FM 544. A
fireworks disturbance was
reported in the 300 block of
N. First. A minor accident
took place at FM 3412 and FM
1378. A caller reported a
prowler in the 400 block of
Elliott. Disturbances were

The open house for the new
Municipal Service Center in
Sachse will be held fromf 2 to
4 p.m. Jan. 29, according to
Mayor Larry Holden. The
previously announced date
was Jan. 8.
