Five Dogs Up for Adoption
Wylie Animal Control Officer Kevin Mathews reports he
has five dogs in the City Pound at the present time -- all
must be adopted within the week or they have to leave the
kennels.
Included are two puppies -- a brown and black Sheppard
female and a brown and red Cocker Spaniel mix (found at
Rustic Oaks Apartments).
A female Chow mix pup was found at Birmingham and
Kirby Sts., and a 10-month-old black and white female
Scottish terrier mix pup and a Golden Retriever (found at
Stone Grove) are also on hand.
Call 442-7588 or come by the city's animal quarters on
FM 544, west of Hwy. 78.
Adoption fee is $30 and there's a $3 tag fee if the animal
is spayed or neutered for city residents (fee for the latter is
$10 if a non-Wylie resident).
