Stewardship of Life—
Rev. L. L. Burkhalter gave strong j
message Sunday morning on Stew j
ardship of Life. Text: I Cor. 4:2
It is required in Stewards that a ■
man be found faithful. The pri-|
mary essential is faithfulness. It
is that which keeps the marriage,
vows inviolate. Stewardship ap-
plied in the home will make forj
happiness. Stewardship applied to |
the neighbors homes will make for
ample of a faithful steward. When
Potiphar's wife sought to entice
him, he stood strong and pure
from any vice. Stewardship covers
every phase of life. If in your(
mind vultures seek to nest, drive J
them away. Evils are propagated
today by picture shows and ob-
scene literature.
Parents, you have spiritual obli- j
gations of stewardship for your
children. If this is not had, the
church and christian people should
seek to supply loving and tender
guidance to the children.
Keep clean your mind, body and
spirit. Ye are not your own, ye
are bought with a price."
Rev. Burkhalter's charge: Cease
majoring in minor things. So let
us do and seek first things first, j
